For each day and each shift, the generator picks the person with the fewest shifts so far, and it avoids giving anyone a second shift on the same day while someone else is free. Shifts end up spread as evenly as your numbers allow.
If you ask for more people in a day than you have, someone gets two shifts that day. Add staff or lower the number per shift.

The download is a CSV file that opens in Excel and Google Sheets, with Arabic names shown correctly. The rota is built in your browser: the names you type are not sent to Rosterna.
The Saudi work week
Sunday to Thursday is ticked by default. Article 104 of the Labour Law makes Friday the weekly rest day for all workers, and lets the employer replace it with another day for some workers after notifying the labour office. The rest day is fully paid and at least 24 hours in a row, and it cannot be replaced with money.
What a template cannot do
A weekly template is a good start for a small team. It does not know about leave, availability, rest time between a night shift and the next morning, or who swapped with whom, and it has to be redone every week. Rosterna builds monthly rosters around coverage needs, rest rules, fairness and staff preferences, and staff see their schedule and request swaps and leave in the app.

Is the shift schedule template free?
Yes. There is no sign-up: add your staff and shifts, generate, and download the CSV.
Can I make a monthly roster with it?
It builds one week at a time. For a month you would generate and adjust it week by week. Rosterna builds the whole month in one go.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. The page works in Arabic and English, and the CSV keeps Arabic names readable in Excel.
Which shift pattern should I use for 24/7 work?
